What Leadership Services offers is a group of UK-based part-time senior Directors who deliver transformative leadership to small-and-medium scale enterprises.
Many SMEs lack someone with senior (Director-level or above) experience to help define and implement a strategic vision that can help take a business to the next level. This is true across a range of functions, whether it be Marketing, IT, Finance, or Operations.
The absence of senior business leadership can act as a barrier to growth and to achieving the long-term vision of the CEO. That’s why David Bailey founded Leadership Services: to ensure that businesses who perhaps didn’t have the need for a full-time Director, or didn’t have the budget to hire one, could have a business leader bring their skillset, experience and expertise to deliver a transformative agenda.
How Leadership Services Works
All of our leaders work on a strictly part-time basis. This doesn’t mean you get less bang for your buck, quite the opposite. Our leaders have been working in a part-time capacity for quite some time and have become highly skilled in managing needs on a part-time basis. One of Leadership Services’s core promises is that we can deliver the same results as a full-time Director in significantly less time.
Because our Directors work on a flexible, part-time basis, it means you don’t have to commit to employing someone full-time – which comes with its own risks and hefty costs. Our part-time model ensures companies get access to the skillset and strategic experience of a top-level, seasoned Director with all the pros and none of the cons.
All of our leaders are senior-level Directors. To join Leadership Services, Directors must have at least 10 years experience in a Director’s role and demonstrate a proven track record of success wherever they have been.

What Leadership Services Do?
Our Directors have been in the game for a long time and we have accumulated a vast bag of knowledge on the different challenges in the business and how to solve them.
Our highly experienced leaders are versed in all business matters and have worked across multiple industries. We cut out the learning curve that less experienced Directors or Managers may encounter.
In a practical sense, we work with clients on a fully flexible basis determined by the requirements of the client. For some clients, they just want help creating their strategy, but they have the resources in-house to continue this once the strategy has been decided. For other clients who are perhaps embarking on bigger, longer-term projects or don’t have senior level leaders in-house, we can work with clients from as little as two days per month to three days per week to join your team, outline and implement a strategic vision, and ultimately deliver transformational leadership.
Directors will typically sit on the board of your company and be involved in senior-level decisions relating to the objectives of your business. We are also very flexible with our contract terms and so, depending on the nature of your requirements, we can work on your project, whether short-term or long-term, as per your schedule.
Furthermore, our Directors are strategically placed around the UK, giving us the ability to work with any company in the UK.
